Stations of the Cross and Resurrection Kit (Standalone)
A flexible, all-ages Holy Week experience for churches
Invite your congregation, small group or ministry to move through the Easter story with their whole bodies, hearts, and imaginations.
The Stations of the Cross and Resurrection Kit is a hands-on, experiential Holy Week resource created for churches seeking a meaningful, non-lecture-based way to engage the Easter story. Inspired by imagery and stories from The Book of Belonging and developed through years of kids’, youth, and intergenerational ministry practice by Zippee Kids, this kit invites participants of all ages to walk through Jesus’ final days, sit with the waiting at the tomb, and celebrate the hope of resurrection.
This is a guided experience meant to be entered, not performed.
What this kit is
An expanded and thoughtfully adapted riff on the traditional Stations of the Cross.
While inspired by the historic practice, this kit is not a one-to-one recreation. Some traditional stations are intentionally omitted, and additional stations are included to carry the story all the way through resurrection and ascension.
This approach reflects best practices in kids’ and student ministry, and works beautifully in intergenerational settings. Developing minds benefit from hearing the story in full: not stopping at death or violence, but moving toward hope, restoration, and good news. By holding the cross and the resurrection together, this experience creates space for honest reflection without glorifying harm, and helps the church tell the Easter story as a complete, hope-filled whole.

The heart behind it
The Easter story holds grief, injustice, waiting, and hope, all at once.
This kit was created to help churches slow down, feel the story, and imagine what resurrection might look like in their own communities. It honors the depth of the cross while making space for resurrection, reminding us that love does not end in death - it transforms it.
